USD 490 Skelly Elementary School

El Dorado, Kansas

Following a successful 2010 bond issue, Skelly Elementary was the first project of Phase I. The new three section school was built on the existing site which required the project to be phased in order to allow classes to continue during construction. In addition to a new school, the design and engineering teams were able to solve the neighborhood’s long standing flooding issues. This project allowed the community to gain confidence in the Gravity::Works team and their ability to serve their district.

Gravity::Works is, as are all architects, invested in their designs but, uniquely, they first demonstrate a servant-leader approach toward the owner.”
