USD 490 Skelly Elementary School

El Dorado, Kansas

Following a successful 2010 bond issue, Skelly Elementary was the first project of Phase I. The new three-section school was built on the existing site, which required the project to be phased to allow classes to continue during construction. In addition to building a new school, the design and engineering teams solved the neighborhood’s long-standing flooding issues. This project allowed the community to gain confidence in the Gravity::Works team and its ability to serve the District.

Gravity::Works is, as are all architects, invested in their designs but, uniquely, they first demonstrate a servant-leader approach toward the owner.”
