USD 375 Circle Oil Hill Elementary

El Dorado, Kansas

Gravity::Works worked closely with Circle USD 375 to implement its master plan for facility improvements. A facilities committee was formed to develop and support a bond campaign that required community engagement with stakeholders to promote and educate across the multi-community District.

The resulting effort included additions and renovations to the 1957 Oil Hill Elementary building. Building analysis indicated strong viability and with intentional additions and renovations, a 21st-century learning environment was provided for students. The deliberate design allowed for increased enrollment and opened extended learning spaces outside of the typical classroom.

Adding a new cafeteria allowed for a safe room to be constructed. Additional safety measures were also created through renovation of the front office and library.

They are an organization who understands the big picture of education and puts our needs as their highest priority.”
