Foundation Park Home Plus Senior Living

During the COVID-19 pandemic in the U.S., mass attention was given to senior care facilities and the areas in which they lacked safeguards for their residents. Owners of Foundation Properties engaged our design team with a strong passion to redefine senior care in Kansas.
The Foundation Park campus has three independent buildings that can each house 12 residents. Each building has an open-concept common area, including kitchen, dining and living space. The layout also allows for easy access to the robust, in-house therapy center. The campus, located in Colbert Hills, features a large patio for residents to enjoy the Flint Hills.
One of the highlights of Foundation Park is the dignity that technology and design foster for residents. Each resident room is barrier-free with a private bathroom. Technology using Artificial Intelligence is used in rooms to monitor residents without being intrusive. The project, from concept to move-in, has been a truly rewarding experience for our team.
