This gymnasium has great historical significance to the Newton community and we are proud to be a part of its preservation. The main goal of this project was to tuck point the entire exterior, stabilize the structure, and bring the building to current ADA and fire code compliance. As the project has evolved, there have been some discoveries that have contributed to major cost savings, allowing the district to address additional needs for the campus. This space will continue to be developed for both recreational and educational needs throughout the fall.
