Introducing: Circle Towanda Elementary

Last week, Circle Towanda Primary and Intermediate Schools combined into the new Circle Towanda Elementary. All grades levels are now in one building with shared resources.

The three section school, including PreK, built additional space to allow for anticipated increase in district enrollment. A new gymnasium that functions as a safe room was added, along with new classrooms and flex learning areas. CTE also received a new office with a secured entrance and mechanical upgrades throughout the building.

These new classrooms are designed in a collaborative style. The three sections are open to each other with pocket doors to close off if needed. This design facilitates team teaching and project-based learning. It fosters a flexible and creative learning environment for both students and teachers. Each section has access to the flex areas, located right outside the classrooms, for break out or one-on-one opportunities.

As we wrap up the final details of this project, we are one step closer to completing the USD 375 2021 Bond Issue. Read more about this in the Butler County Times Gazette.

We want to thank the 375 Circle District community and Simpson Construction Services for choosing us as your design partner.
