We are thrilled to celebrate Vince Haines, who was honored as the Community Champion at the 2025 El Dorado Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner.

Vince’s lifelong dedication to El Dorado is nothing short of inspiring. As a leader, advocate, and eternal optimist, he has spent decades working to strengthen our community through placemaking, economic development, civic stewardship, education, and commerce. Whether serving as a former mayor, a board member for SBAMH and El Dorado, Inc., a supporter of the Red Devils, or a champion of numerous local initiatives, his impact is woven into the fabric of our city.

This year, Vince was nominated alongside David Dillner, City Manager of El Dorado, and Drew Wilson, Director of R.I.S.E. Both David and Drew are exceptional leaders, and Vince holds great respect for their contributions. His relationships with them highlight the power of collaboration in making El Dorado a stronger, more connected community.

Upon receiving the award, Vince shared his gratitude:

There are many in El Dorado that do great work and are Champions for our Community. I am honored for the nomination and to be recognized among them. I follow the lead of my father, Gerald Haines, to get involved and make a difference; and my mentors, John Prigmore and Cliff Stone, who taught me that ‘as is my community so is my business.’”

For over 30 years of Gravity::Works Architecture’s 73-year history, Vince has been a driving force in shaping spaces that enhance the place we call home. His passion for El Dorado is unwavering, and this award is a testament to his dedication and vision.

Congratulations, Vince! And congratulations to all of the nominees and community members who make El Dorado a great place to live and do business.
